Ideas for new items

After a good sum of hours in playing this game, I have come to realize that there are not many items in the game. That is not a bad thing, it only means that we have a blank slate to start with in creating these new items that may be implemented in later patches. Of course some of the items I will be suggesting today may have already been thought of and already in the works, here are some things I have thought up.

We already have a wood sword and stone sword, So next we can gradually go up the line in rarity and strength by including swords such as Copper/bronze swords, Iron swords, Steel swords. (all the swords base materials can be found from mining) And if you don't mind for adding a bit more "fantasy" into your game, you can add swords of Mithril variety, or Adamant. (adamantium if you are feeling a bit more "Comical" ) You could even add cobalt swords as well. I even have many ideas of different swords that isn't solely based on ores. Such as a Zealot sword (Sword of the Zealot, or whatever you want to call it), Dragonsbane (deals additional damage to dragons and reptile creatures), Soul stealer (Drains health from enemies on each swing), etc. . Of course I am just pitching a bunch of ideas here, but these are just for you all to consider. I am sure some of what I have said, if not all has already been thought up of and in the works of being implemented into the game.

We could also add in battle axes, two handed swords, daggers, pole-arms, staffs, fist weapons (one such fist weapon could be made of bear claws, named: Akakabuto. A power-hungry mythological bear in Japanese culture), throwing weapons, crossbows (more damage but slower attack time than a normal bow), Bardiche, Flails, etc.

Once again, I have a lot of ideas and if you need help creating items just tell me more of what you are looking for. If you mean for items with very descriptive backstories/ Names and titles of new weapons and items/ power in relation to other items in the game/ what it takes to make them, I can think of something to create.

The point you made about swords is good. How about different TYPES of swords?. Maybe keep the base swords as a heavier damage fighter sword and throw in something like a saber for those leather armor dex based ranger types. lighter damage but more dex based stuff like dodge or maybe even higher crit rates. daggers for those Book wielders.

I like where you were going with this and yes, I was thinking this myself. I believe it would be a good addition to the game to allow different types of swords that fit more with different stats. Such as some being more for dex type players, or swords for strength players. Rapiers and sabers being for dex players, while broadswords and the such being for strength characters.

Backpacks / Bags

Weapons - New Swords, Daggers, Pole-arms, Axes Use the already established tier system wood, stone, bronze, iron

Armor - Use the already established tier system wood, stone, bronze, iron

Potions - Run speed increase, Stat increase (Dex, Str, Int)

Spells - More offensive Spells

More items would really make some variety, because at the moment everyone is running around with pretty much the same stuff.

Along the lines of Backpacks, were you thinking that if this was implemented this would allow our inventories to increase in size, as well as increase the amount of weight we can sustain? If so I like the idea and would like to see this added to the game.

Different kinds of potions that increase certain stats would be interesting, perhaps have them last 180 seconds each? While having even better potions eventually last longer than that, up to 360 seconds and more?

Exactly! potions that either scale in magnitude or duration.

As far as backpacks, i was thinking it wold just increase inventory size not reduce or mitigate weight restrictions
